Days 13 & 14: Santa Fe

We've just been relaxing here in Santa Fe. I think three straight nights of night-driving really wore us out, so now we're just catching up with e-mails and blogging and stuff. Other than that we've been museum and gallery-hopping, covering quite a lot of ground.

Last night we attended the Art Walk on Canyon Road, which is something the 100+ galleries there do every Friday. They open their doors to the public for extended hours, and the whole Santa Fe art scene turns out to stroll up and down the street. There are generally a few openings too, I gather. We also checked out the Georgia O'Keefe museum -- very pretty, but small.

Today we took in the more contemporary scene around the area called the Railyard, where there is also a weekend farmer's market, and visited the Institute of American Indian Arts.
