OK, here goes... let me rewind a day and go back to the very busy and packed day we had in New Orleans yesterday.
We started things off by having beignets and cafes au lait at the Cafe du Monde in the French Market. Just as we'd been warned, the heaping powdered sugar cascaded onto our laps. Good thing I wore all black.
