In the spirit of the South... hey y'all!!
Yeah yeah, I know I'm a little late with the blog here. It's Day 3 and I'm just getting started. I'll try to make up for lost time.
So... I'm on this road trip. In the South. Why? For how long? Where am I going? Etc. etc. Yes, so many questions. Well, here's the background:
A couple months ago, my brother Kaii gave notice at his job in Cincinnati, with plans (all laid out neatly in Excel) to travel the country, then the world, before starting an industrial design program at the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands this fall. Three weeks ago, I was laid off -- leading him to extend a generous invitation to join him on his cross-country trip. Perfect timing!
So my brother drove down to Savannah in his white Prius -- and three days ago, I flew down to meet him. Over the next three weeks, we'll mosey on across the Southern U.S. to our hometown of San Diego.

Sorry to hear that you were laid off!! But wow, amazing timing. Enjoy the trip, and I will be following your blog very closely!
